Membership

A subscription fee of R20 per month is payable for Izaapa membership. You must be an izaapa member to access personal loans and cash advances on the app.

Personal Loans

MIN & MAX PERIOD OF REPAYMENT

Our minimum repayment period is 3 months and maximum is 12 months

MAX ANNUAL PERCENTAGE RATE (APR):

The Maximum APR annually is 27%. You will see this under “Detailed Cost Breakdown” feature as part of the application in the app

EXAMPLE : If you borrow R4000 for 6 months:

Principal : R4000
Interest (Prime [9.75% as at Sept 2022] + 7.25%) : 17%
Interest Payable : R4000 x 17% x 6 /12 = R340
iZaapa Membership fees per month R20 : 6 x R20 = R120
Total payable for duration of loan : R4460
Monthly Repayment : R744

This representing an APR of 23%

Cash Advance at 0% Interest

Cash advance for emergency payments are offered to izaapa members up to R500 at 0% interest. You will have 61 days to return it.

EXAMPLE : If you get a R300 cash advance, you will get R300 into your account with no interest or additional fees.
